Claude Sonnet 5.5 is Anthropic's current Sonnet model for coding, agentic workflows, and everyday production work where response speed matters. It offers a 1M context window, 128K max output, adaptive thinking, vision input, tool calling, and prompt caching. Effort is configurable from low through max and defaults to high; `none` turns off thinking before the answer. Prices match Sonnet 5. `tool_choice` accepts only `auto` and `none`.
