LFM3-1.7B (Free) is the version of Liquid AI's 1.7-billion-parameter language model offered at no charge until 30 December 2026, 23:59 (TRT); it closes earlier if the quota set aside for free use runs out. The free allowance is about 2 million tokens per account, varies with the input and output mix, and does not renew during the offer. It takes text input only, offers a 128,000-token context, and supports tool calling and structured output that follows a JSON schema. It reasons by default; reasoning tokens count as output against your allowance, and `reasoning: false` turns it off. Without `max_tokens` an answer is limited to 16,384 tokens. Liquid does not recommend it for agentic coding or complex multi-step reasoning. Turkish is not among the languages Liquid officially supports.
